Good for you for doing this. What a great gift that you give your son.
Hi there! I was intrested in taking a CPR class for infants and small children, and was wondering if anyone knew of anyplace to go.

You can try online at www.cprclass.org. The site has several partners in the childcare industry and is a sponsor of the International Nanny Association.
I took a class at Shawnee Mission Medical Center before my son was born. You can find out more about it by calling the Ask-a-Nurse line. Their website is www.shawneemission.org. :-)
Check with your local YMCA. My daughter just took one there so she can babysit.
Hi J.,
Most hospitals will offer these programs for parents and siblings. Also, you can always contact the American Red Cross as well.
Olathe Medical Center
Overland Park Regional
Shawnee Mission Medical Center
St. Joseph Medical Center
The class for first-timers is around eight hours long. When you renew your license, it will be half the time.
Good Luck!

You can find CPR and First Aid Classes on the Kansas City American Red Cross Website. I send my nanny or babysitter her to be certified.
Has anyone heard of taking an online CPR class. I have to take this class as well for work. If I could take it online it would be a lot more convenient and less expensive. Here is the link:

Let me know what you think. Thanks!
