Hi all mom's and dad's,
I would like to get the word out and have more parents get the chance to help us change a critical piece of the Amber Alert that set us back in getting the word out that Liz and Lyric were missing. With an Amber Alert, they can NOT issue one if there is no description of a vehicle or abductor. This law will change that. It will allow an Amber Alert to go out after 1 hour County wide. State wide after 3 hours and Country wide after 8 hours of any child missing even if there is no description of the abductor or vehicle. A missing child under any circumstance is still a missing child that's need all the help they can get to be able to come home as quickly as possible!
The Amber Alert how it is written right now has to have the description of the child, the abductor and/ or the vehicle. This change would allow just the description of the missing child if no other information is available.
If you would like to help us get that critical piece in the currant law changed and hopefully it will help save a child's life, I'm asking you to sign the petition. Thank you

Aug 13 was the one month mark that Liz and Lyric have been missing :(
Kane that is why this needs to be changed, the law enforcements "hands were tied" and couldn't because of how the law is currantly written.
I signed and linked to my fb and twitter...hoping to get more signatures. As I stated in my reason for signing, I'd rather hear a false alarm then see another news story of a child's body being found.

Man it ticked me off that they didn't set out an Amber Alert! Why wouldn't they do everything they could to help find these girls!
I think about them daily...still watching the news just waiting for something new to come forward!

Just signed it. Couldn't make my signature public though, as it contains my address and we dont want Sony to be adopted son's bio mom to find us.
