Convertible Car Seat Cover

So after having to completely disassemble the convertible car seat to clean a mess from a diaper explosion I am hunting a washable/waterproof car seat cover. One that can easily be removed and not require 20 mins of cleaning in the parking lot only to put your child back in. I then had to completely disassemble the car seat to get the pad off to wash. Would prefer to buy locally but also willing to order online.

What can I do next?

There's a thing called a piddle pad you can get it at Babies R Us it's a little pad that sits in the seat part of the car seat. Washable and have heard it's pretty absorbent.

we like piddle pads. They do only cover the bottom of the car seat with a small flap that helps protect the buckle from messes. My daughter is mostly potty trained so we have only had this help with urine accidents and her spilling a drink. It worked well for this- then I just take it out- throw in the washer/ dryer and slip back on. We have the deluxe version sold on Amazon.com. These are no help when vomit is the issue- but no seat cover will help because the belts get nasty and have to be removed in this situation. We haven't had a poop problem. These also work okay for a stroller- however they tend to slide around some when the child wiggles or gets in and out of the stroller.

I think i saw one at Kid-To-Kid in Arlington. Call them - they have a lot of unusual and one of a kind stuff. I think I saw it with the baby slings, over by the maternity section.
