I have cleaned out my closet and have about 23 really nice suits and pantsuits (Amanda Smith, Dani Max, VotreNom, etc.) that I'd like to sell. Where would be the best place to try to sell the suits: Consignment Stores, Craig's List or E-bay?? Anyone had a good return with any of these places?? And if I do consignment, any advice on really nice ones to go to?? (I know where some good child consignment stores are...but don't really know of any for adults!!) Thanks!

Go to www.clothescircuit.com and you'll get all the consigning info for them...they are the best in the metroplex! I shop and consign with them. but be prepared, they are very particular....go in there and look around before you try to consign, you'll see all their clothes and accessories are very high end and in perfect condition. They keep such a large inventory that they have the ability to be choosier. If you have fall/winter suits to consign, you better get them in quickly because when I was there last week they told me that there were almost full on fall clothes already. good luck.

The only info that I have for you is that I just got an email today from E-bay that the whole month of Sept is FREE listing/NO listing fees, but I don't know how well clothes sell on it.
I would recommend maybe consignment for that type of thing.

AND finally - what sizes - I may be interested... you can private message me about what you have.

Thanks,
S.

Hi K.,
I have had great luck w/ Clothes Circuit as well. I recently went there to "retire" a bunch of my fall suits. I will warn you that they are being pretty picky on the suits: they are looking for a short jacket style; they wouldn't take any of my suits w/ longer jackets (past the waist/high hips). On the items I have taken to consign, I've gotten great returns for low effort. I would also recommend before going there to give the clothes a good lint rolling and trim any strings, replace missing buttons, etc. Good luck!

You could go to ebay and look for similar items and check what they have sold for, usually that's how my husband can tell if an item is worth selling on there or not. He has been selling stuff on there for years, he has a 100% rating and that's what he recommends. I love Craig's List, that's how I have sold most of my kids clothes, and I don't have to be bothered with going to the post office.
