I second the Carters! They start out soft and stay that way. We have gotten some others that seem soft but after a few washes start to toughen up and the fabric gets yucky.
My kids love footy PJs. And that time of year is coming up, so I'm shopping for new ones. I don't like the ones I've seen at Target or WalMart. They're soft and cuddly on the outside, but scratchy material and full of hard seams on the inside. Have you found affordable, comfortable footy PJs for toddlers?

I love Carter's pajamas!
Land's End has nice ones. Also, we have found some at Costco.
Hanna Andersson is terrific - just pricy!! We love Carter's too!
My son LOVES the Carters ones (he's 4 and still likes to wear them in the colder weather months). Nice and soft, yet roomy enough that he isn't squished in!
I love the Carters PJs, they stay soft and are roomy.
Have you ever tried the ones from Children's Place? My son always loved those.
I think I saw some in the Hanna Andersen catalouge, too!
I buy mine at Landsend, but they are on the pricier side. I mainly buy them because they sell larger sizes and my son is super large and was still wearing footies when I couldn't find them in other stores. (very soft and very durable. I have seen the zipper rip out of others, but have never had problems with the Landsend ones).
Good luck!

Childrens Place are my fave! And they stretch too!
Children's Place has the best ones, but you have to go the store - the website never has as many choices.
Hi, T.!
The last three years I have purchased my daughter's at Sears. The tag says Planet ZZZ and they come in a two-pack. My 6 year-old loves them and says that they are comfy:)
nordstrom has their store brand footed PJ that are fleece.. great price too and they sell them online at nordstrom.com..
We bought my 7 yr old daughter a pair from Walmart this weekend and she LOVES them (not scratchy). You can also look at LandsEnd, The Childrens Place, and L.L. Bean (but expect to pay a nice price too).
