Clothes Resale?

Honestly I prefer using local consignment shops. When it comes to buying clothes I'd rather be able to see it and feel it. The only exception has been my daughter's gymnastics leotards. Those are expensive and hard to find second hand so I have used ebay, and been satisfied 90% of the time.
As a seller you can probably make more money selling online versus consignment, but you have to factor in the time and trouble it takes to list, pack, ship and track items, so I don't know that it would be worth it to me.

Local consignment shops. I won't usually buy kids clothes online unless it's a brand I'm certain of (like Tea Collection which is always true to size) and in near perfect condition. Otherwise it's just easier to browse in a real store.

I prefer Just Between Friends. It is a twice a year consignment event. And you will make FAR MORE off of your clothes then you will at a consignment shop. There are several in the Houston area. Check them out. http://www.jbfsale.com/default.cfm

I sell on Craigslist...but the only things that will sell are the brand names like Crocs, Gymboree, and specialty items like tap shoes, ballet shoes, leotards, dance outfits, figure skating outfits, etc.

Trading with friends or yard sales. I want my money instantly.
