Unfortunately my daughter is only two so her clothes won't work but I was already planning on cleaning my closet this weekend and donating the clothes to a women's shelter. If she is an 8 or 10 I would be happy to donate my clothes.
I am in the need of some help. A friend of mine just got out of an abusive relationship and when she left she was only able to pack a few clothes for her daughter who is 3. She has asked her ex-husband several times to bring some clothes over for her daughter and he will not and she is to afraid to go back over to the house to get the clothes. She is trying to get back on her feet and has finally found a job but her daughter is in desperate need of some clothes. I had some extra clothes for her but since I have a little boys I couldn't really help her with clothes for her daughter. Is there anyone in the Duncanville, Cedar Hill, Arlington, or Grand Prairie area that could help her out? If you have any extra clothes for your daughter or clothes that she has out grown that are a 4T or 5T that you would be willing to part with please let me know. I really appreciate any help that you can give her. I have done as much as I can do but I really can't afford to buy new clothes and right now neither can my friend.
I want to thank everyone for there help. We did get some clothes for her daughter and we are still working with some of you to get the rest of the clothes for her little girl. I really appreciate everything yall have done.

I have been there...........the courts/police should be able to help. The police did a civil stand by for me and I got my kids' clothes. She should talk to her attorney. I see you mention exhusband? should have been covered in the divorce but can still be handled if she was awarded the items in the divorce..........good luck!
My husband is a police officer. You have every right to go get her clothes. (your friend does) You can call the station and request an officer to escort you to the home and take what is yours. It is silly to let this man think he has the power to do what he is doing. He does not! Sorry...it's just that I've been there before! If you have any questions though, let me know. I'm sure my husband can answer them!

My daughter is way past that size, but have you thought of freecycle. You can post an ad and believe me I always get response from what I advertise or need. freecycle.com
You can use several sites for several cities or just the one that is convienent to you. I love, Arlington, Irving the most, but the DFW one is o.k. although things tend to be further away for me like Dallas, Mesquite, etc.

Hi I believe I may have some clothes my daughter is 5 but I have been saving her good clothes for her younger sister but she is 10 months and I am sure it won't be a problem finding her new things when the time comes. I live in the Desoto area but feel free to email me ____@____.com
unfortunately i have a little boy so obviously i don't have clothes for a little girl. however i do know of a cheap place to buy some used girls clothes. try the store called once upon a child. i go there from time to time to have them buy my son's old clothes and jackets. some of the clothes are just three dollars. nothing is really expensive. good luck.
I wish that I could help, but my daughter isn't in that size yet. Has she tried 'Once Upon a Child'? They have a store in Arlington, and usually have decent things (especially for girls) at reasonable prices. The store in Arlington is off South Cooper.
I just started a website for parents to trade used clothes. Have her sign up on my site and send me a personal e-mail. I'll give her an automatic credit and she can choose whatever she likes that we've got in her daughter's size. I'll ship it to her for free. www.Zearly.com My email is ____@____.com have her mention you and this posting. As women, we've all got to rally around each other when things go wrong.
