Hi. I am looking to buy a double stroller. I am expecting my second child this week. My first child is 20 months old. Does anyone own the baby jogger city select? Do you like it?
THANK YOU!

What can I do next?

I have one and love it. My kids are only 14 months apart (currently 22 and 8 months). It is so easy to fold up and throw in the back of the car, in just one motion. And it's not that heavy-i was doing it myself only a couple of weeks after my c-section and it was fine. Even though it looks wide, it actually fits thru every door and it's really easy to navigate as opposed to the front and back ones. You'll have to buy the car seat adapter (I used it with a graco snug rider). Now I think there are two models and I have the one with the mid-size wheels, not the largest wheels, though I tried that one too and really liked it. I just didn't think I'd use it much for actual jogging so I went with the smaller wheels. Good luck.

I looked at that one for my arriving newborn and soon-to-be 2 year old and chose the BOB Revolution dualie instead. The main points against the Baby Jogger, for me, were that you can only use the infant carrier attachment or the snack tray attachment but not both on opposite sides, the carrier attachment and the snack tray attachment each had to be purchased separately and all attachments I was interested in were out of stock with no idea when they would be available (per Baby Jogger and resellers websites and per Baby Jogger customer service last October).
The BOB was more expensive, but had all the features I was looking for, the carrier attachment includes a snack tray for the other side and one to use when the carrier is no longer needed, it is lightweight, pushes and steers like a dream and I LOVE it.

I do. I have not used it much bec my second was just born but I love it so far. It is heavy, like they all are (but lighter than all the others, I did a lot of research). It is more compact so you don't feel like you're pushing along this tremendous stroller. And compared to the 4 single strollers we own, this stroller moves so smoothly and easily. Right now my 32 month old is in the seat and my newborn is in her Graco car seat on top. The only thing is that there are 15 or so configurations and only one worked for us! So my son (32 months) has to face inward or the car seat wouldn't work. I got it from an online store where I saved $150 from all the other prices I saw (joggingstrollers4less.com)

good luck and congrats!

I have a BOB Revolution and it is aazing. I didn't use it with the car seat adapter so I can't give any advice on that. We also got a sit and stand first and it is a nice stroller but my older DD didn't like that she had to ride on the little seat backwards. Also very hard to use with the car seat because it takes up so much rom that there isn't much of a seat left for the older child. Good Luck!
