Any recommendations on a good OB/GYN with privileges at either Plano Presby or Medical City Lewisville who is also a Christian?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

So I went with Dr. Randall Burt in Plano per several personal recommendations. I wouldn't know if he's a Christian or not since he never brought it up (even though he knew where I stood). So...not exactly what I was looking for. Plus, in spite of all the great things everyone said about him, I actually found him to be quite flippant about my concerns. Many of my issues he seemed to chock up to me being an overly-sensitive (physically) first-time-mom who doesn't know what pregnancy is like. For instance, I had cramps for a week that progressively got worse and worse to the point where I was unable to sleep and almost went to the emergency room at 2am, and his response was "it's only going to get worse" (as if it was normal). (Come to find out my baby has a brain malformation that began around the same time - not saying anything could have been done, but pretty obvious it wasn't "normal"). When I expressed my fear of the epidural, his response was (and I quote) "get over it." No pep talk, no explanation of how it works. Not to mention he seemed pretty hell-bent on doing a C-section. Long story short, I switched OBs at my 7th month. My husband went to a church retreat where his table leader just happened to be an OB/Gyn. They started talking, he offered his help/advice, let us call him anytime, one thing led to another and we decided to use him as our OB. I'm now 31 weeks and have seen him several times. He's really good about explaining everything, doesn't talk down to you, he's really calm and relaxed, knows what he's doing but isn't arrogant about it. Anyway, we're really happy with him. I definitely have more confidence now, which is good since labor is just around the corner. Our baby has a few issues, and while others were obsessed with data to the point of making decisions not necessarily in the best interest of the baby, imo (more CYA kind of thing), his response was one of faith in God more than faith in a few growth numbers. Which is exactly what I want in an OB. I get biophysical profiles every week, so it's not like he's overly laid-back or anything. But he also knows that he isn't God. So if anyone is in the Allen/Frisco/Plano area, I'd recommend Ralph Joseph.

Dr. Christopher Riegel is absolutely the best! He is a very strong Christian man. I have been with him for 15 years and he delivered all 3 of my kids at Presby Plano. His office is located right next to the hospital.

Dr Thomas Fliedner (North texas OB/GYN) has privledges at lewisville medical and is great! I've never spoke to him about his religion but his office decor indicates he is very christian and involved in some kind of christian medical association...

Dr. Thomas Fliedner. He delivers at the Lewisville Hospital. I have not been to him but I know his wife personally and have friends who see him. He prays with his patients.
