Children with Vitamin B12 Deficiency

My daughter is 6 years old and suffered from a B12 deficiency when she was one. As a result she is delayed. It's a rare thing, so I am ever looking for another family who may be going through this. Once my daughter received b12 through injections she slowly began to regain movement. B12 defieciency affects the neurological system, so she's had to slowly regain her skills and it's been slow going learning new ones. But, she is full of determination and has done nothing but move forward. Mostly, I'm just posting just in case someone else out there may be able to relate with me. Thanks for hearing me out.

What can I do next?

Believe it or not I was just researchig b12 deficiency right before i came on here. I hope she is no longer receiving injections. maybe a sublingual b12 would be fine. http://www.veganoutreach.org/health/B122002.pdf
that is where i was researching. I was looking for info because i recently began taking b12 and i'm suddenly getting tremors. i am pretty sure i am deficient and i read in some reports that at the beginning of treatment patients have gotten tremors or maybe even seizures that went away after some weeks. but it wasn't too clear if they had them before they took the supplements. but that was what it seemed to imply.
Did your daughter get tremors when she started her b12 as her body adjusted? I wish you both well, and don't ever let anyone, especially the doctors, tell you you can't.

I dont know if you are open to "natural medicine," but there is a lady in Plano ###-###-####) who does EDS screenings. It is too complicated to explain here, but is a very scientific based procedure that can detect things that traditional doctors can not. I know it may sound a little wild, but her success rate is so high it takes 2-3 months, sometimes more, to get in as a new client. She has helped many "cure" different problems when no one can offer a solution that will help them or say there isn't anything that can be done. Her website is northtexasdynamichealth.com. She is a pleasure to work with. If you would like to hear more about her from my personal experience just e-me.

I'm sure you have already researched and know that a vegan diet does not provide B12; microwaving destroys it; it's found in yogurt; and it is found in meat and fish. QN labs in Austin (website qnlabs.com) is an excellent source for high-quality supplements and you can talk with someone about what you need (they don't do telemarketing after you talk with them either). You can order online or find them at People Pharmacy on So. Lamar (premiere elements or something like elements is the label). They do not add magnesium stearate and use vegetable capsules. And no I am not selling them - don't work for them - just am a very pleased customer after a long line of ineffectual supplements. Start at the cell - it's our center! Good Luck

Wow M.! You truly have your hands full! But God would not give us anything more than He felt we could handle, right? (sometimes I go, what in the world were You thinking?!) He always gives us grace and the right people in the right place at the right time.I have 4 kids and I too am a juggling mom and wife, and although I do not have the B12 issue in my house, I do have two who are high maintainance, so I think I can relate to you! Through a lot of trial and tribulation, we started our kids on (the whole family really) on a diet change. Not a "diet" so to speak but long term and life term supplements and cellular nutrition. And over the course of the pst 4 years, we are not always perfect, but we are on the high roll and are connected to a world renouned medical advisory board. One of the dr's is a Nobel Prize Winner! Kewl, huh? :) Anyway, would love to sit and talk to you about diet and long term nutritional gains for you and your family and what cellular nutrition (starting at the core baby!) does for you.
Let me know what you think!
ttyl!
