Childcare Needed - Gilbert,AZ

I know this is probably a pipe dream, but can anyone refer me to anyone in the gilbert area who would be able to watch my kids for "pennies" for a while until I can afford to give them a raise? Or better yet, a daycare center that might actually work with me? I am a stay at home mom who needs to go back to work outside of the home temporarily for a while and have been working on my husbands one income for a while and have been on a strict budget, but optimally have been doing well despite my strict plan. This being said, we have no room for the minimum $1000.00 a month for two kids day care costs that I have been researching. Does anyone have any ideas?
Any suggestions are valued and appreciated.

Hi T.;

I am a new Mom to Madison born February 17th and Ryan who will be starting kindergarten in the fall. I have decided to stay home and would be interested in watching a few children to supplement income.

I am a college graduate and just recently left University of Phoenix after three years as a Technical Support supervisor. I live at Val Vista and Guadalupe. What ages are your children?

If you would like more information let me know. I am not looking to start a daycare or advertise anywhere. Just saw your post and thought I'd write.

Good luck with your search!

L.

Looks like you have already filled this position but if not send me a message telling me what you "can" afford and maybe we can work something out. I totally agree it is rediculous what the charges are out there.

i was a nanny back in MA and a lot of families were sharing a nanny in order to help with the expense. You can put out an ad in your local paper to see if anyone local would be interested in sharing a nanny with you. This would mean either that you would have her for part - time hours and then the other family would or that the nanny would take care of both families children at the same time. This was really catching on about 6 years ago in the east so it should be farely commen around here by now.

Hope this helps.

As far as daycare is concerned would you qualify for DES assistance? It's worth checking into.

Are you open to having someone come to your home to care for them, and would you mind someone bringing thier own kid or two. Reason im asking is cause i hav 2 kids of my own, 5 year old boy and a 4 month old daughter and im looking to stay at home instead of continue to work outside the home. However i need to make alittle money to make ends meet. I live in a condo so its not practical for me to watch several kids in my home. I love working with kids and have been doing so for many years, as well i am currently a sunday school teacher with preschoolers. If your interested please email me back and maybe we can work something out that would benefit the both of us. Thanks!
