Childcare Needed

My daughter needs some social interaction. She wakes up daily saying "Play with kids?" it makes me sooo sad! Anyways i would like to find a place to take her that has reasonable prices, and we could do part time, and bring our own food (maddie has allergies) and i would prefer that it is not religious based, or atleast is not "really super religious".

Im open to in-home, or mothers day out, or a part time preschool. Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks so much for the playdate invites! But i am about to go back to work anyways, so i figure i need to find someplace that she likes and can go to part time untill i get my full time job.

I know you are looking for a childcare to drop your child off, but if you are looking for social time for the two of you together, you can look online at www.meetup.com and find a play group in your area which offers great social interaction. It's a great way to get some time together! I am a DFW Supermomma. My son and I love the group! We meet at one another's houses, parks, mall, we even have a meeting set for a pumpkin patch coming up soon! I am sure you will find a group in your area, if not, we would love to have you in ours here in Irving!

I'm not sure about childcare facilities, but some options that worked for us were "mommy and me" classes: Kindermusic, Rec Center classes, etc. Also, we were in the Mom's Club and participated in playgroups. The library and many bookstores offer storytime. My kids became little social butterflies before they could even walk. They got tons of interaction.

Also, here is a link to Stroller Strides:

If I would have known about that when mine were little, I would have definitely done that!
