Has anyone used Kids Park in the Arlington Highlands? My husband works nights and keeps our daughter during the day but he's in process of finding new job and will need someone to watch her while he goes on interviews, etc. Kids Park charges a $39.95 yearly fee plus $7.50/hr.

What can I do next?

My son loves Kids Park! We've had playdates for him there where we've went out with another couple and the kids played together there. Just to clarify (unless it's changed since last year), the fee is a one time charge, not a yearly charge. As long as your child goes once every 12 months, you don't have to pay the fee again. You can send food with her if she'll be there at meal time or you can order through them. They order food from McAlister's or Black Eyed Pea and you pay like $4 and pick their food. They provide snacks too.

I have taken my kids there twice now and I've been very happy with it. Two of my neighbors (one whom is very picking about who she leaves her child with) and been using them since they opened a few years ago. You can download a $5 off registration fee from the website. And as long as you send your kid once during any 12 month period, you do not have to pay the yearly fee again. Not a bad deal. After I took my kids the first time a few weeks ago, I got an email coupon for a free hour. I used that last week. I would recommend it!

I recommend them. My daughter went for the first time last Friday night. My daughter (age 2) always has crying/screaming fits when we drop her off anywhere (including her usual daycare). I was worried because of that, but they handled it very well. She calmed down after a few minutes, and she was very happy when I picked her up. She told me that she had fun and that she was willing to go back. They have several different areas with different things to do, so any child, no matter their interest, will have something fun to do. Definitely, give them a try. Good luck to your husband!

Yes! I love KidsPark. In fact, we just moved to Alabama and I'm REALLY missing it! There's no hourly care place here at all. :-(

My kids absolutely loved it there. They always begged me to go. The staff is nice, check-in and out is easy, it's clean, and the location is really great. There are usually coupons or discounts in local magazines and in their monthly newsletter, so get signed up. I had never any issues with my kids getting hurt or anything like that. They always had a craft that they had done and the staff was always laughing at something mischievous my two year old had done.
