I am looking for an extremely responsible young college student or responsible women that would come to my house m-f to watch my 3 year old and pick my 11 year old up from school. i can pay 100-120 a week for this. must have references. does anyone know someone that they would recommend to me. i live in warren, 12 and ryan area and my daughter goes to school at 16 and ryan. i do understand that 100-120 is not a ton of money but when you think about it i am paying for all his meals and everything you need is in my home. i will also reimburse the gas. right now i am not paying much more for a center and they provide everything.

What can I do next?

I agree. I care for children out of my home, and I charge $150 for 1 child.
When I nannied for a family of 4 children.....(2 of them school aged)....(only 8hrs a day 4 days a week), I got paid $600 a week. I got them up and ready for school, breakfast, took them to school, took care of the other two children/lunch/straighten up/etc...then picked up the kids from school...got them snack and homework started and I was done.
I understand that $ is rough for everyone.
Are you supplying the sitters meals also?
Gas reimbursement is a plus.
Also: are they claiming this money? Cause you should.

I will aplogogize up front if you find this "unhelpful", but 100-120 a week is very low pay for someone coming to your home full time (essentially a nanny). I teach college courses, and none of my students could afford to make only 400-500 per month for a full time job. Also, if it is full time, it would be difficult for e college student who is in classes during the weekdays. Just some things to think about. Good luck!
