I googled it and came up with this and others:

Good luck. I just made cherry preserves and they were yummy!
Where can I buy cherry jelly? Does anyone have a recipe for it? Not preserves, but jelly. Can't find it anywhere so I'm willing to make it. I've seen it on Amazon but it's too late to order online. It's a surprise for my husband for Father's Day. He loves cherry jelly! Thanks!

Maybe the problem is you're looking for jelly and not preserve. I think maybe cherries are more traditionally made into preserve.
I don't have a recipe but Bonne Maman makes an amazing cherry preserve that you can buy. (My grocery store in IL carries it but you could search the web) The glass container looks like an old fashioned french jelly jar and the metal screw top is printed like red gingham. Even though it says it's a french product ~ the item is distributed by: American Marketing Team, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. The cost is between 4-5 dollars for 13 oz.
Hope this helps.
Don't know if this will help, as the date is soon, but we were up in door county this weekend and there was a great cherry orchard we stopped at that had cherry everything. Their website is www.orchardcountry.com and their number is 866-946-3263. Not sure if they could ship overnight or not.

here is the other
both of these places have very very yummy stuff
Have you tried looking at Woodman's? They are so huge and they have everything! I actually haven't looked there for cherry jelly, but they may have it. There is one in Rockford and there is one on Randall Road by the Mendard's I believe that is considered Carpentersville over there.
I have seen it at Jewel and Dominicks...I know, because I love it myself. Possibly Whole Foods?
What a fun gift idea! So thoughtful.
Is this tart cherry jelly? I don't know how you can find the cherries right now - they won't be in season in Michigan for about 3 or 4 weeks. (How do I know this? I am also a cherry fan!) Maybe frozen, but it would probably be easier to find the jelly. (sweet cherries are easier to find, if that's what he likes.)
I know our farmers market here in Oak Park (Saturday mornings) has a huge assortment of jellies and jams from Michigan, too. Cheese stores - any boutiquey food place - tend to be a good place to find that type of thing, too.
You could also try Cherry Republic in Traverse City or American Spoon Foods (Petoskey) - check to see if they have a local outlet. Also, the u-pick places/apple orchards tend to have a shop with that type of thing if you have one in your area. Good luck!
There is a Farmers' Market in near Southern Wisconsin. The Country Market. They carry Cherry Cider, too, MMMMMMmmmm! If you take Wilmot Rd and follow County Rd F all the way to Rte 50, it will be right in front of you. It's only about
a 15 min drive from Rte 12 and Wilmot Rd.in IL.
If you purchase a package of Sure-Jell at the store (pectin) it will have the recipe for making jelly. You will use plain old cherry juice and the pectin to do this. Very easy and fun.
I believe Kroger's carries cherry jelly. I am not sure where you are located but I think that is where I purchased some recently. If not there,Walmart as that is the 2 places that I do grocery shopping. Good luck...and if you "make" some keep me in mind!! Yum!!!!

I would also suggest Cherry Republic. They will have a few 'varieties' of cherry jelly, so you could have fun with your father's gift. www.cherryrepublic.com
Try Woodmans....I just saw some there the other day. I can't remember if it has whole fruit in it or not though. But they have everything and I did see some homemade kinds there too (i.e Door County ,etc) I would definitely check them out.
TJ Maxx and Marshall's always seem to have unusual jellies, in the same department where you can find cookware.
Actually Aldi's has it. My mom bought me some, still haven't finished it yet. I prefer strawberry!
Traverse City, MI is the cherry capitol.... you could google it & I"m sure loads of little stores will pop up for you to order it. Shipping is quick between IL & MI so you'll have it in plenty of time!!! They have cherry everything!!! So if you're hubby loves cherries - you'll more than likely find other things to order for him too!!! If you ever get a chance - go for the Cherry Festival - awesome family summer destination - right on Lake Michigan... it's gorgeous! Chamber of Commerce there could send you a full packet of info!
Have you tried whole foods or trader Joes. I get a cherry spread from Aldi but it has cherries in it, not sure if thats what you want but it's good. Also call some health food stores. Isn't it ironic that this would be so hard to find. Good Luck your hubby is lucky that you would go through all this to make him smile.
