We have been to the Pirates Show - it was in 2005. It was fun - the kids loved it. The food was OK - listen it's not horrible - have fun - be silly - and Happy Birthday to your Hubby!

We are thinking about going to either the Arabian Nights or Pirates Dinner show in Orlando for my husband's birthday. I know you have to kind of take them with a grain of salt, but the majority of the reviews for each are terrible (from the food, show, waiters, etc...)
Has anyone been to either of these shows? What would you say about the food, show, etc?
Also, I have a 15 month old son who will be going as well? Is the show appropriate and/or too long that he may get bored?
Thanks so much!

We go to Arabian Nights every time we go to orlando. We loved it. And not sure where the reviews are lol but the food is always good, the staff is not bad. at least in the more than 20 years we have been going to florida the staff has never been bad. it is the same kind of thing as midievil times. your at long tables facing the arena and the staff just comes past and places your food and drinks in front of you. you won't have a constant waiter bringing you more drinks etc as there are literally thousands of guests and it is a constant show going on. But my kids love it. they are all in their 20's now except our 14 yr old and they all still ask to go when we are in florida.
I've been to the pirate one, and the reviews are accurate. For the amount of money you pay, the food is below standard, and the acting...omg, I don't even think you can call it acting. Super cheesy. Don't waste your money.
We went to Arabian Nights in August. The dinner was yummy and the show was interesting. I don't know that it would hold a 15 month olds attention though. I did hear people coming out of it complaining about it but my husband and I had a good time. I guess we're simple people and it doesn't take much to impress us. Fun times. We did the VIP package and got to pet the horses and visit with the people in the show before hand as well as be seated before everyone else.
I have been to the Arabian Nights show before in Orlando and I preferred the Medevial Times show myself. Arabian Nights did not keep my attention the whole time but I have not seen the Pirates show.
