I'm looking for catholic church recommendations preferably near the Issaquah area and know there are not many. However, I'm still interested in any feedback that is not too far from Issaquah that anyone can recommend.

What can I do next?

Hi M.,
I just wanted to comment that you and I have alot in common. My hubby and I moved up here to WA from CA about 10 years ago too! What part of CA are you from? We are from L.A. Also, like you, I had my first child at the age of 30.
I don't know about any Catholic churches since I'm Christian, but if you want, you can always come to Tahoma Baptist Church in Kent. My Pastor is a very warm and friendly person, and he is very knowledgable about the Bible! His wife is very sweet and they have two young boys.
Let me know if you want directions.(It's not that far from Issaquah, as I used to drive back and forth from Evergreen Ford to Kent every day a few years ago. It's only about a half an hour drive.)

Sincerely, B.

Hi M.! Welcome to Motherhood. I don't know of any Catholic churches in Issaquah but I know of St. Jude's in Redmond which I have heard wonderful things about. I got married there 20 years ago. Also if you are interested in getting plugged in as a new mom I would check out MOPS. It stands for Mothers of Preschoolers (and younger). I am a Mentor Mom at the one at Overlake Christian Church in Redmond. It is a non-denominational organization. Great fellowship with other moms, childcare is provided, great speakers and of course food:). We have one more meeting in May and then we will break for the summer. If you are interested for the Fall let me know since spots fill up quickly. Blessings to you and your family! Happy Mother's Day! J.

Congrats on your new baby!!!

We just moved here from MN and found this Catholic Church in Sammamish (we live in Issaquah). So far it seems very nice.
