My Baby was curious so i offered him & he ate few bites . half an hr later he pooped with a sticky consistency , thats normal for him but his poop contained the carrot tiny pieces . they were as it .LOL ...I was wondering if it was undigested completely or helped his body giving some nutritional benefit ???????? he hates purees and mashed food

Babies digestive systems are not fully developed and can't digest everything that an older child or adult can digest. So, the carrots weren't digested and were passed. You will find this with other things too, such as peas and blueberries. They both make for interesting diapers.

It's okay. Corn does the same thing. It scared me to death the first time I saw it in my baby's poo. I called the ped's office - they made me feel better. Yes, it's undigested, and a source of fiber, so don't worry about it! And it's fine that he doesn't like the purees. He's ready for some texture!

Remember right now he isn't really eating the solid food for the nutritional benefit. At this stage he is learning to eat different textures and flavours.
