I spilled Red and Green Candle Wax on the Brown color carpet tonight. Before I mess this up even worse I am seeking if someone has a great idea to remove this without damaging the carpet. The carpet is... I forgot the name of this kind of carpet, but it is one of those long fluffy kinds (sounds like 2 years old talking:)).
Thank you for your advice.

THANK YOU for the advice about using an irn on paper towel/cloth!! It worked like an magic!! It really worked and it was amazing to see all the wax melted to the paper towel as I use the iron on it. Now my carpet it completely clean and there is no damage either. My husband was amazed also. Thank you, ladies!! Sincerely, K. B

Here's a trick I learned in college: cut up a brown paper bag and lay it flat over the wax. Iron the paper with a hot iron. The wax will come off your carpet and stick to the paper. It's worked for me in the past!

Try using a cloth and a iron. Put the cloth over the wax and then use the iron. the wax melts onto the cloth. it worked for me before. good luck

Try using an iron and papertowel. Put paper towel over the spot and use iron to heat the wax up. It's better to press the iron on the apot rather than rub it. I've tried this a few times with good success. My carpet is short though so not sure how well it'll work for you. :)

Use an iron (on low/med not too hot) and a hand towel or paper towels and iron the spot. The candle wax should go onto the towel.

as an extra tip, if you use nylons (pantyhose) on your candles, it will take any small nicks or scratches off of them!!

Good luck!
