Hi Moms,

I recently made a ton of spaghetti. I guess my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Does spaghetti freeze well? Thanks!

As others have said, yes you can freeze it. But, make sure it is sealed tightly as it gets freezer burn very easily if you don't freeze it with sauce. Also, I add a little bit of water when reheating (either covered with foil in the oven or in microwave). You can also likely just drop in boiling water for a very short time to reheat.

Yes you can freeze it. I personally don't care for the noodles and sauce to be frozen together.

I make a homemade marinara sauce and I always make a double batch so I have a back up in the freezer.

You can also make spagetti pie with it to make it a little different.

Yep. I suggest really sealing it up. I use a freezer bag and getting most of the air out before putting it in the freezer.

Absolutely! Once it's cooked, you can freeze it plain, or with your sauce on it (easy to re-heat and have a meal already prepared).
