Bye-Bye! JFF

My 9 month old waved bye-bye for the first time today! It's the cutest thing ever, big grin and manic arm flailing whenever anyone waves at him. Everyday is something new, what has your little one done for the first time recently?

What can I do next?

My 6 year old seems to be honing her sarcasm skills, LOL
So she says things like "That's just GREAT!" when something really isn't and then says "I was being sarcastic" like it always needs an explanation, LOL
:)

She also is getting a sense of humor all her own and a good sense of self esteem.
I told her today, "You're adorable, you know that?"
And she said, "I know, I have known that since I was born!"
And then starts laughing :)

Let's see, what's new? I have a 21 month old...she's been "exercising" while I'm watching The Biggest Loser. She stomps around in her diaper shouting "One! Two! One! Two!" and doing mini baby leg lifts. She also started saying, "Daddy, help me!" while I'm trying to change her diaper.

My six year old is getting ready to turn seven, starting to write cursive, and getting ready to lose tooth number two. :)

Aren't children great?

Nice question, that is cute :-) My 9 month old is finally saying mama which makes my day!!! And my 5 1/2 year old is starting to read whole books! My 4 1/2 year old 3 weeks ago was desperately trying to hula hoop and couldn't and now is a master hula hooper! So great to watch every stage :-)

Aww, how cute! Don't you love the milestones? Get a picture next time so you can put in the baby book. My little ones are learning new words every day. I love reading with them and hearing my five year old actually reading words and sentences is music to my ears. :)

My Natalie has been practicing her forward roll in taekwondo class, and she mastered it this week. She was so proud of herself! Seeing her work at something that hard and to succeed is the best thing ever!

My son (2.5) just learned how to do a front roll! Forever he's been trying and gets about 1/2 way there but then falls to the side.

My daughter (4.5) just memorized my husband and my cell phone numbers.

My 10 month old granddaughter has added shutting the door to her waving and saying bye, bye. Her mother was holding her while standing at the door holding it open. The baby reached out and shut the door.

Manda's comment reminded me that when my granddaughter was around 6 in age she would say, "I know as much as God" when we would ask her if she knew something or when we questioned what she'd said. lol

My stubborn 4 year old (homeschooled) has wanted me to "help me!" with a ton of fine motor skills lately. On Monday, she finally wrote her own name on her paper!!! She was so proud! I knew that she could have done it for a long time, but her will is like mine and she'll only do things when she's ready. I am so proud of her! She also memorized her bible verse from church this week. Coming along...

Huge in our case my nonverbal autistic 5 year old son has started waving and saying hi and bye to his friends at school or on the bus on his own! Granted, he waves similarly to the way an infant tends to as in backwards but the sentiment is still the same.

My 8 year old daughter has started showing huge leadership ability in school. Yesterday she came home with another award from music for being a helper and teaching other students. This is her 3rd one from music in two the last two weeks.
