So, my options are 2006 Saturn Vue or a 2004 Nissan Murano. I am in love with both. What are you thoughts of the 2? Which one would you choose and why?

What can I do next?

I don't know much about either, but I don't think they make the Saturns anymore, so they may try to charge more for parts when it comes time for repairs in the future because the parts "are hard to get". I would look into the cost of repairs when thinking about buying used and see which one maybe cheaper or which one doesn't need repairs as often.

My husband is a mechanic & says that the Nissan is definitely the better way to go. He has NEVER been a fan of Saturns. He just said that saturns are made poorly, and don't perform very well (or long) either. We have a friend who has only owned Nissans, and says they are fabulous.

We just got rid of our 2003 Saturn because parts were starting to break and are not readily available to fix. I have a Nissan Quest and it's great, so my vote is for the Murano.

I love my Saturn Vue but go for whichever one is in better shape, warranty, miles etc. You should be able to negotiate a good deal on the Saturn since they're no longer making them (you can still get service through Saturn authorized dealers).

We have a 2008 Murano and I love it. Nissan's have a better resale value and they don't make Saturns any longer so I would say no to the Saturn. Go with the Murano.
