someone told me that inhonor of GS 100 anniversary they are having some sort of build a bear deal on parties. does any one have any info, 'll call the store tomorrow but thought i would ask, the website shows a little brownie sash outfit for $9. but I was giving the impression there is something bigger that that being offered. thanks.

And by the way, is there a limit to how many stuffed animals a chld needs? lol the thought of having to buy a new bear drives my clutter meter off the charts.

What can I do next?

Here's a coupon for 10% off of a party of $200 or more good through May 31st (doesn't have to be for Girl Scout Bear, but you can definitely use it for that).

As for the Girl Scout outfits, it's while supplies last and I imagine this is going to be hugely popular. On the website, they're pretty much all showing up as out of stock. What our troop did was order the bears and the outfits now, and then we'll pick a date to go in the future. I would suggest calling your local build a bear and seeing if they have any in stock and then rushing over there and buying them ASAP!

Good luck!

The only thing I know is that a special 'Build-a-Bear' is being released on March 16th (tomorrow) commemorating Girl Scouts' 100 Year Anniversary...Bears will cost $20 and will be available at Build-a-Bear stores or online.

My daughter's troop is going to the build-a-bear store in a couple weeks as a field trip. Our cost is $19.43 after tax for a bear and girl scout outfit but I don't know if that's a discounted price or not.

Oh I am not telling my Girl Scout about that one!

We go through our stuffies periodically and take them to the church's yard sale. If it were up to them, they always need another stuffed something from somewhere.

I am sure Build A Bear probably has something like that, but I would check out Noah's Ark Animal Workshop. They have both the green girl scout outfit and the brownie outfit. They also come to you, so you don't have to arrange for transportation to the mall. I used to be a rep several years ago and did many parties for GS.
Good luck!

just saw that Costco still has Build a Bear gift cards at a reduced rate. Two $25 cards (value $50) can be purchased for $42.99 in store or on line. I am not familiar with the promotion you mentioned. You might ask to make sure you would not have a problem using gift cards.
