We are planning on going camping next weekend and I needed to know if it is ok to use bug repellent on a 7 month old baby? Does anyone recommend a certain kind?

Thanks for your help!

Burt's Bees has chemical free bug repellent, I love their products! If your grocery store doesn't carry it, check Target. I'd ask your pediatrician to see what they recommend.

Check with Arbonne and Avon. I know arbonne has a baby line of lotions including for sun protection. They may have a bug repellent also. I know Avon used to have bug repellent for children. I'm sure you can find consultants for either online. I've seen an avon store in Independence, MO out near the Indep center.

Just asked the dr this ? for the 6 month old girl that I am baby sitting and she said anything with picaridin instead of deet is safer and can be used more frequently or if you are going to use deet it's safe as long as it's less then 30 % - Good Luck - Have Fun!

Try "OFF"....I think they have something for kids. You could try putting it in your hand & then rubbing it on the baby. Good luck, have fun & God Bless!
