I don't like poisons. We use Basic H from Shaklee. It is a household product, but works great as a repellent. I haven't had a mosquito bite in over a decade. I bathe in it and I also bathed my boys in it when they were young.
In the past, I workded outside and used the Skin so Soft. But after a couple of weeks, I started getting a rash from it.
I will be happy to send you a sample of Basic H if you would like to try it.

I'm so glad that you are concerned about toxins and want a safer alternative. I don't know if you have heard of the company Melaleuca, but they sell all natural/eco-friendly products, from bug repellents to cleaning products, vitamins/supplements, bath 'n body, and cosmetics.
