I am starting to see little dark brown spots (age spots?) on my face and they are bugging the heck out of me. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of them or minimize them?

Try rubbing w/fresh lemon, just slice it open & rub. I've heard that helps. I haven't tried it myself yet but I haven't heard anything negative about that method plus, if it works, cheaper than a spa treatment. Hope that helps, good luck!

I went to the dermatologist and she froze them off. It took very little time, wasn't really uncomfortable and was not expensive. I looked pretty gross for a week but it's great now. Also, be vigilant about wearing hats and sunscreen on your face in the future.

Sunscreen to keep them from getting worse for sure. The worst ones of mine showed up throughout my two pregnancies, though. I've used a couple different OTC creams and Mary Kay's seem to be the best (along with microdermabrasion). They aren't gone but they are beginning to fade. . . .Good luck, I feel your pain!

There are fade creams. Porcelana is one that my father used.

Sunscreen anytime you are outside. It will reduce the appearance of them.

I highly recommend using vitamin C serum. I used to pay over $100 for Cellex-C but now am using NuFountain. I paid about $25 through amazon. I had laser treatment done at one time. It worked great but the age spots came back. I really see results when I use the Vitamin C serum and am religious with sunscreen. Good luck!

Bare Minerals Pure Transformation Night Treatment has been a lifesaver for my skin! It has reversed the spots I have from sun damage and my mom is using it & seeing her age spots fading! I started using the entire skincare line in March (when I started working at the boutique at Partridge Creek) & it has cleared up my hormonal acne and made my skin beautiful enough to go without makeup, which I haven't been able to do since I was a teenager (when I didn't have acne, lol!). It has minerals, vitamins & antioxidants that decreases cell turnover time. Come in to the Bare Escentuals boutique at Partridge Creek & ask for K.. I'll help you find what you need to get your complexion back in order! I don't mean to sound like an infomercial, lol I just really LOVE the skincare and love sharing it with people!

I use a toner that neutralizes the iron in tap water (the other cause besides sun.) I also have a PM repair cream and sunscreen that are great. Let me know if you are interested. They took care of mine and wrinkles, too.

I would suggest, if you are not doing this already, to make sure you are drinking enough water. Half your weight in ounces.

What I use to keep my skin looking good is a skin care line called Enfuselle. These products hydrate my skin (normal to dry), get vitamins C and E into the skin to repair cells, reduce and prevent brown spots, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

My skin looks better today than it did 13 years ago when I started using these products.

Can you tell I really like the products?

i used lemon juice and believe it or not, i noticed a difference, slight, in 2 days of using it. i keep it in the fridge, use a q-tip and put it on, and let it dry. i ususally do it before bed. now that being said, i haven't been doing it lately b/c this summer has just been crazy and i actually forgot about it until i read your question...lol. so starting tonight, i'll be doing it again. thanks for the reminder...lol.
