I also took domperidone and that was the dosage my doc recommended for me.
My son is 9 months old and at about 8 months I noticed a dramatic decrease in my milk supply. I have decided to take domperidone (already taking fenugreek) but I wasnt sure of the dosage. I read somewhere (can't remember where) that the dosage is 1 10 mg pill three times a day. Is that right?
Thanks!

Why is a 9 month old still being breast feed.?Give him a bottle. If you have to take any med. while you are using breast milk you are taking a chance that some other condition can harm your child health wise.

I just went into google. You cannot use Domperidone while breast feeding. Read google!
That actually sounds a little low. If you go to kellymom.com there's info on domperidone. Here's the link that site provided and if you scroll down, it will talk about dosing. http://www.nbci.ca/index.php?option=com_content&view=...
I took 30mg 3 times a day to jump start it, and after I saw an increase, I slowly went down to about 50 mg/day.
I agree with the others. I've been taking 3 10 mg pills 3 times per day. Total 9 pills.
Go to LLL forums - you'll get the answers you seek there - lots of ladies have been through very similar situation.
I took domperidone as well (oh, so much better than Reglan!) when my baby was just a few weeks old. I noticed an increase in supply fairly quickly. I understand that you can get Domperidone without a prescription but you should be able to ask your ob/gyn about the dosage. I believe I had a 30mg dose two or three times a day.
One note I have is that at the age of 8 to 9 months old, a drop in milk supply is a perfectly normal response to your baby taking more interest in eating solids and drinking from a cup. I would wonder why you decided to start some domperidone.
Whatever you decide, best of luck to the both of you!
