I would go to a specialty store (like Victoria's Secret) to get measured. You might just have the wrong size around (cup size varies right along with the band size). The can measure you and then you can take that knowledge anywhere.
Nothing is worse than an uncomfortable bra, good luck!
Take advantage of people that will do fittings for you, like Victoria Secrets. Those bras are pricey too but at least with the fitting you will have a good idea on what size and what to look for when choosing. I HATE shopping for bras but with the fitting it made me more aware of what I need.
either victoria secret or a upperclass department store they have sales people who can measure you and help you find the right fit a litttle expensive but very woth it.
Try Nordstrom they are very knowledgeable and show you how the bra should fit each part of your body. It was very helpful for me. I went and bought one bra there and then took what I learned to a less expensive store.
My friend always goes to Nordstroms and says they do a great job fitting you and making sure you have the right bra. I also think Macy's does this, but not positive. Victoria's Secret will measure you and get you something you like as well. They have one of each bra in every size, so you can try on them all without having to keep looking for one if you don't like something. These places are more expensive than say a Target, but you get what you pay for. I've had good luck.
I have been measured at Victorias secret and they always get my size wrong. I would recommend MAcy's who will do a fitting for you. They have a larget variety of sizes and their prices are actually really reasonable. I also noticed at JCpenney's that you can go in and sign up for a one on one consultation with a fit specialist, but it's only for the next week or so, so go soon. Apparently 75% of women wear the wrong size so it's worth it to be fitted. Good luck.
R., I have always had a problem with bras - until I went to Nordstroms. They were fantastic, and my bras are great! Not cheap, but well worth it.
Definitely go to Victoria's Secret. They are very helpful, and they will measure you and get you into the correct size. Also, they will get you into the right bra for your size, shape, etc. The bras are not cheap (usually $35-$50), but they are really good quality and last a long time.
Nordstroms is fantastic and I have a lot of friends who get fitted at Lane Bryant also.
