There is a recipe on cookinglight.com for Buttermilk Brine Pork Chops. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds really good!
So....Who has a great pork chop recipe they can share with me. I have baked them with cream of mushroom soup...which is excellent but have thought about making breaded pork chops....but maybe with some parmesan cheese mixed in or something. Just lookin for an interesting new idea. Thanks!

E.,
I have a great one. MY friend is Jewish. She deosn't keep Kosher but her dad did and she had never had pork. She said these were the best things she had ever tasted. I slit a thick cut pork chop down the side and stuff with a pre cooked mixture of bacon, stuffing, cheese, and whatever kind of spices or veggies you like, like onions or peppers. Rub outside with with marjoram and pepper, brown on each side, and bake at 350 for awhile. If you want exact specs, let me know, I'll find the recipie.

Hi E.!
Yes, the mushroom soup recipe is one of my favorites too. This time of year though, I like to cook my chops w/ apples and onions. Basically, all you do is brown them first and then put them in a baking dish and add onions, cook them for about an hour or so at 350 then add apple slices and cook them for about another 30 minutes (or cook them however you usually cook yours). You always hear about having pork chops and apple sauce so you know apples go great with them anyway. This is such a nice change and apples are so abundant now. Good luck!
You know, this isn't very creative, but I love it; Shake and Bake. :-)
I smother the pork chops in djon mustard, minced garlic and sprinkle them with lowry's seasoning salt and broil them a few minutes per side. Very tasty with mashed potatoes! Happy Eating!
