Boils - FYI

Just wanted to share this information. My daughters suffered with boils. Thank Heaven's for Tomato Paste. If you or your children deal with boils, the moment you see it rub tomato paste on the boil and cover it with a band-aid. The acid in the paste brings the boil to a head and therefore you can pop it sooner and get all the nasty out of it. It works wonders. My youngest had one recently under her arm and it's now gone. Notice it on Thursday morning, tomato paste Thursday and Friday, popped it Saturday monring and now its healed.

What can I do next?

R.,

My grandson suffers from these too. My dr. gave me a prescription for Bactraban. It is a cream that you put on as soon as you see one starting. It heals it in 48 hrs. No squeezing it needed. Its not messy either. Dr also told me to give them in a bath in 1/2 bottle of peroxide couple times a week and a bleach bath once a month. It kills all the bacteria but won't hurt them. Just be careful around their face. When we do the bleach bath, I just put him in, wash him and get him right back out. I don't let him play in there. All these seem to help. I've read that squeezing it is not a good thing, it hurts alot and it can spread the boil. Hope this helps. I love Bactraban.

Huh, interesting. I've never heard of putting tomato paste on boils, just hot compresses. I wonder if that works on big pimples too?

Thanks for the tip!

That's some great info I never heard of that my mom and my sister get them and they eat raisins until the boil is gone. They continue to eat them even after the boil is gone and they don't come back for a while.I'm going to have to tell my sister about the tomato paste remedy.

All the responses here are very good. I've never heard of the tomato paste.
If I can rid of it naturally, I'd rather do that if it will not reoccur. I've gotten boils for two years now and didn't have money to go see doctor. I finally went this year and found out it is MRSA....puss is highly contagous. It's not a good idea to squeeze them as it pushes some puss back down into the skin and spreads to another area. I am currently on a 30 day antibiotic treatment and bactroban for my nose and a special body wash/cleanse. No one else in the family is getting it, but Dr. said I'm probably giving it to myself.

Be VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS. IT CANE BE DEADLY.
