My husband and I went through the same thing, and we decided to use separate blankets. I missed feeling him right next to me, but it was totally worth it. We were both much happier in the morning!

Either seperate blankets OR we use an ADDITIONAL blanket in the winter. If a blanket gets pulled over to one side, there is always the extra blanket that stays put.

Don't put the extra (we use a lightweight but warm fleece one) at the same edge of the 1st one. Lay it on top more toward the center of the bed. If you get it pulled out from under you - or he does - then you pull the blanket from the top to cover where you no longer are. This way, it works BOTH WAYS, no matter WHO pulls the blanket off the other one.

A good solution is having an extra blanket at the foot of the bed so when you snitch the blankets he can just reach down and cover up with one you can't steal. The PJ idea sounds good too. Really nice for you and might actually help. :)

We have this same problem. Just get separate blankets. My husband likes to wrap up in his blanket and even a king size comforter isn't big enough for both of us. So, he has his and I have mine. Everyone is warm.

eh...you're uncomfortable 24-7, he just is when you take the blankets:)
Kidding aside, I'd put a blanket on the floor next to him and tell him you are sorry that you do this in your sleep but it will be over soon (this only happens right now while you're pregnant, right?). Whenever you take the blanket, he should just grab the new one and go back to sleep.

we went to two blankets to solve this problem because there were some times when in his sleep he would subconciously fight me and take the blanket from me too so we just caved and use two blankets to make everyone happy.

slippery pj's works for me. I haven't found anything that keeps hubby from stealing them tho.

My experience with satin is not good. We slid on the sheets and could not get comfortable. Satin pj,s were a little better but I still took all the blankets. (Still do to this day!) My hubby and I have kidded about getting a large sleeping bag for me so he could have some covers. Haven't tried it yet but still under consideration and even though I am no longer pregnant I still sleep with at least 3 pillows. Always have slept with a lot of pillows. Do not like the body pillows. Good luck!

About the only thing I found to solve that problem when I was pregnant was to have him keep an extra blanket on his side of the bed. Then when I rolled and the blanket went with my "mammoth" belly LOL then he had another to cover with. Although the extra ended up used by me as often as him since he likes to "burrito" in the blankets. Even covers his head sometimes. Never found a way to break him of that. We still have to keep an extra blanket, just now for me. Good luck.

Hi M.,
One of my friends buys her sheets seperate ~ the fitted one fits their bed, then she buys twin flat sheets. Their comforter fits the entire bed ~ I'm not sure if the actual blankets fit the bed or are twin. But she says it works like a charm (in her case, her hubby is the sheet stealer).
Good luck!

Separate blankets! It saved us during my last pregnancy! I'm sure we'll be going to separate blankets again soon. I even used two different sheets. I just folded a regular sheet in half, same with the blankets. When I made the bed (which, to be honest is/was rarely) I used the comforter to cover the up "the great divide." It really worked for us. We could both be warm and not fight each other all night for the blankets. :)
