I have a daughter who is 12 weeks old who is only breastfed. This morning while changing her poopy diaper, I noticed a clump of black mucos looking stuff. I am freaked out. I called her pediatrician and he hasn't called back yet. Is this something I should worry about or is it normal? Thanks.

black, coffee grounds textured stuff is usually dried blood. Mucous looking stuff I don't know about. I would work on calming yourself. The likelihood of it being serious is slim especially if your baby is feeling well. Worry will not change the results. :) and will make you miserable.
You should be concerned, but not worried. Save worry for when/if you know something is amiss. Just make sure you get to talk to the pediatrician today, even if you have to call back a couple of times.

Weird stuff is in diapers sometimes. You may have eaten something with a lot of iron in it lately? That always makes black poop.
