M.H.
We had my daughter's 1st birthday here at our house with mostly family. We did have a handfull of little kids at the party. I amde it very easy on every one and served finger foods. Deli style meats cheese and cresaunt rolls were the main dish. Along with fruits and some veggies with dip. For the little ones I put out some bowls of star puffs, gold fish, and raisens. Her theme was little princess. I found some really cute bibs in pink and blue that said litle princess/little prince. I gave one out to all of our younger guest along with a nuby sipper cup in matching color. I found a silver sharpie and wrote their name on the cup. Decor;;; I took coloring princess coloring to kinkos and blew up a picture of a castle. I then traced it out on foam board and colored it and put it on the fire place. It was set up for people to bring gifts to the castle for the princess. I took another foam board and traced out a tiera and attached it to her high chair. She wore a beautiful pink "easter" dress with a matching pink beaded tiera. All of the kids wore paper teira or crowns. For the oldr kids I let them color a picture of a princess or prince and they got to decorate their own tiera or crown. Our cake was really great. A friend of mine from church made it. She does a great job and everyone at church uses her. Her name is Teresa Daigle and her email is: ____@____.com
I hope your party turns out fun. Just remember to give your daughter a nap prior to the party so she is happy.
Good luck
