Hey, i know winter birthday's can be challenging!!We have to be very creative...one place i won't sugguest is chuuuckee cheeses's, it's all in the name, very cheesey..lol, unless you heard of one not in our metro area, even my children said the place sucks!! okay one place my children did like was "pump it up", they had a blast and it's for the young and old, they have a website you can visit at pumpitup.com. Another idea is swimming they have indoor facility's open all year long, one in particular we like to visit is rollingcrest splashpark again they have a website you can visit in p.gparks. A bowling party is a great idea, over the summer they had this thing called kidsbowlfree.com,check out that website it just might be all year long. we'll right now im all out of ideas :(...i hope this help...oh yeah did you know they have carribean criuse's right out of baltimore for as low a 499$ one me and my family will take would be a seven day trip to the bahamas, well they have a stop in florida, jus imagine january on the beach of florida or the many immenities of florida and the bahamas...food for thought, if money an issue this would give plenty of time to save, and who know's we might see each other there, ha ha ha. good luck with planning :-)

You didn't write how old your son is. But, if you're looking for indoor facilities and don't mind driving another 20 minutes past Clinton to Waldorf, there's My Gym, Pump It Up, Chuck E Cheese, AMF Bowling, and Tucker Road Ice Skating Rink (Ft. Washington, MD). The YMCA in Ft. Washington also holds theme parties. There's a roller skating rink in Waldorf, and another indoor play place in Waldorf. I've forgotten the names.

The Little Gym in Clinton is located in the shopping center where the ToysRus, Giant, and Sears are. It is next door to the Giant.

For an indoor party you can do anything. You can do a themed party based on your son's favorite character. You can even bring the fun of sun inside....like a hawaian themed party.

There is a Little Gym in Clinton, but this place is not cheap! I can say, however, that the one by me is well run, clean and organized!
