Don't know how much you want to spend, but my girly daughter would LOVE a vanity table. I also had one when I was young and I was totally in love with it! Good luck!
I should know what to get considering I have 2 girls of my own but hoping someone can suggest something I may have never heard/seen before.
I have a very girly niece. She loves dresses, fashion and so on! (I have a daughter just like this so you'd think I'd know what to get)
But, here is my problem, her mom buys her all things fancy. Everything in my mind I can think of she has. Her mom is also very good at picking out things for my daughter. In the past I've been lucky enough to find some very cute outfits for her. But this year...I don't know I'm stumped. Her birthday is coming up in a couple weeks and I'm looking for something she will love. Something very girly. Doesn't have to be clothing....just unique or different.
Any suggestions!
Thanks for the ideas! Some I may even use for Christmas! She loves the hair feathers/bling/colored hair - but her mom does those type of things with her already. Ha ha!
I ended up asking her and she told me a la la loopsy doll. So I got her a little la la loopsy set with some extra dolls...then found la la loopsy pajama's! I think I will also get her a piece of jewelry to go with it!

There is a book out there that is, bar none, one of the best "princessy" books I've ever seen. It's called "The Princess Primer" and it is filled with gorgeous pictures and tips on how to sit, stand, walk, curtsey, dress and act like a princess. It's the go-to gift for any little princess to be. I highly recommend it. I've bought it for three different girly girls and they all love it. Check it out at the better bookstores. It's awesome!
What about a little basket with some super sparkly hair bows, glittery nail polishes, some light pink lipstick, some nail decals (flowers or something), bubble bath, and a few lollipops? Sugar and spice, and everything nice ;)
Does she have a tea set yet? My daughter loves her "breakable" tea set for special days. They also have really cute ones in plastic, but porcelain makes it special and grown up.
Fancy Nancy books are great for a "fancy" girl. And now there are dolls and toys available that you could add to the gift.
If you know the decor, bedding or pillows might be a fun choice. A gift card to a salon to get her hair or nails done.
Maybe something like a lava lamp? They make them now in great colors and some have glitter. It's novel, fun, girly and doubles as a night light.
They have tons of fashion craft kits available now too. Toys R Us has a whole wall dedicated to it.'
How about a craft item?
There are boxes she can decorate with rhinestones!
A trip to Color me Mine
Jewllery making kits
A trip with aunt and cousin for a facial, mani and pedi. Time spent doing a wonderfully girly thing would be a huge treat for a child that small.
The Fancy Nancy books are fun. I love to give books.
My Very Girly daughter just turned 9 this past weekend and a friend of mine got her the cutest slippers from Justice. They look like fuzzy pink boots. She also got a purse from Justice. I find that this store had a lot of gifty things other then clothing. You might be inspired if you just go there and look around.
I would get her a pretty ballerina jewelry box and put a little necklace in it.
I went to etsy and typed in "girly girl gifts" and found some gorgeous little items from bottle cap necklaces (cuter than they sound) to crocheted flowers to pin onto a jacket and spice it up to book marks and "make up" (aka pencil) bags for school.
Not knowing exactly the style of your neice, check it out, you are bound to find something wonderful - and all are reasonably priced, the most expensive thing I saw awas $24.
Have fun!
OH ! and if you can find it, there is a book called "dior's little book of fashion" or something similar and it is a 1960s style ABC book but the words that correlate with the leter are fashion related for example A is for A-line, and then it tell what it is - it is pink and black and wonderful - I saw it in a sounthern living magazine a few years ago:)
make her a "tickle trunk", go to a resale shop and buy some formal dresses (adult sizes are fine) that she can use to play dressup with...one of my daughter's favorite things to do is have a tea party wearing a formal gown.
give her a gift certificate to have an "auntie niece" day. (my sister in law has been doing this with my girly daughter and she LOVES it!)
she gets a certificate to either the mall or her fave store, and one for a manicure at a salon. you go together and have lunch, get your nails done and go the store where she picks out her own fun item!
she'll feel like a big girl and have a blast!
My daughter LOVES to get her nails done and do girls days. Could you give her a girls day with you?
My sister got my daughter what looked like a treasure box, purple and sparkly, and it was carboard, filled with dress up stuff and all kinds of pretend makeup and jewelry!
How about a real necklace or bracelet. Something nicer than costume jewelry. Hello Kitty has some cute rhinestone necklaces or you could do an actual sterling necklace with a princess crown or such.
