Organ Piper Pizza is always very popular with my kids.
I have a one year old grandaughter that will turn 2 this Friday-09/28-looking for a special place to take her for supper on Friday. She is having a birthday party on Saturday, but we wanted this to be something special with Nana and Poppi. We've been to Stone Fire Pizza and really aren't interested in Chuckie Cheese-any other ideas? Milwaukee, Wisconsin

What about that ice cream/food place by the New Berlin Library? Its really cute and they have like a birthday siren they use and they all sing happy birthday, they have the lights all around and a little candy shop. They give balloons, I think its a perfect place to eat for kids birthday party. I think you grandaughter would love it. And its not overcrowded so its comfortable. Its like an old fashioned ice cream parlor but they serve food too.
I think its called Bakers ice cream parlor.
Have fun wherever you decide to go.

Hi, B.!
The Organ Piper is kind of fun. We took our daughter there for her first birthday and a friend of mine had a first birthday party for her daughter there. It's pizza and there's an organist who plays every so often. Lots of moving stuff to look at an listen to. Beware, though, it is super-packed on a Friday.
I don't know if you would be interested in this, but my kids love to go here and they just watch with awe. They love to go to Pipe Organ Pizza. I have been going there since I was a little girl with my parents. It is a loud and busy place. But to just sit and watch all the things that the organist does is just so much fun.

I am not sure how far you would like to travel but I know Chicago(right downtown) has this place - American Doll Girl. They have a really cute (a little more expensive) one on one little girl lunch in. They do the girls hair and makeup and this place is out of this world for little girls. They really cater to the kids and make this really special for their Birthdays. This may be a little premature for the age of your granddaughter but something to think about in the upcoming years. We were amazed!
FYI= Bakers was suggested but it is no longer in business. We went there Tuesday night and they closed down as of Sept 1st.
