I am doing a little personal research and would like to ask all the Mom's out there: what has been the hardest thing you've had to deal with in being a Mom (stay at home or working) since you had your baby (or babies!)?

What can I do next?

I love my family sooooooo much of course, but I would have to say that my biggest pet peeve is the never ending chore of keeping the house, dishes, everyones clothes, etc. clean. I feel like there are these naughty little monsters following right behind me making a mess of everything I have just worked so hard to clean. LOL.

Well I wouldn't say anything about being a mom part .... we both knows thats great all things good and bad! I think the hardest part for me is dealing with the men lol. It just always seems like a mom always knows best. I feel its hard to try to explain to a grown man how to talk to a 3 yr old lol.! I also think just the whole life changing thing is the biggest. Not being able to leave when you want or go out like times before. I don't want this to sound like Im only thinking about me here ... I love my daughter and wouldn't want it any other way and she has a great daddy! These were just to life style changes that I thought were the hardest thing that changed! Give me a dirty diaper anyday :o)

the inconsistencies of sleep! my son goes through phases of sleeping then not sleeping; right now he is almost 8 months old and is back to waking numerous times! i am so, so tired! oh, and not getting anything done is hard too, i'm very task-oriented, and i've had to slow down my expectations of myself immensely!

I am a working mom, and I am fortunate to have my 28 year old sister watch my 5 month old daughter while I work...I am home by 4pm and I see her on my lunch breaks. My biggest challange is waking up and coming to work when she has been up all night! It's awful! She has been teething lately and I am sooo tired in the morning. Then I am also so tired in the evenings when I get home from work..My husband and I are working toward having me stay home by the time we have our next baby!

#1 Having people think I don't do anything because I stay home..saying things like "Oh it must be nice to not work". It's hurtful.
#2 I used to travel for a living, and now I get ants in my pants big time. It's hard to stay in one place and not always be going, going, going.....
HOWEVER....my son is the greastest thing EVER!! I fall more in love everyday!!

The biggest pet peeve is that grandparents disrespect the decisions that the actual parent(s) make. And the grandparents favoring one child over the other.

Hope this helps.

Hi T.,

My son is 11.5 months old, the hardest thing for me was adjusting to not being on enough sleep and becoming a little bit of an insomniac. My son didn't sleep through the night until almost 7 months old, so that was really tough.......

Good luck on your research...
