I've taken my little ones to Water World with several of my friends and their little ones for the past two summers. My children are 3 & 5 now, and they look forward to that every summer. We go to Water World because it's close to us... but we'll make the longer trip to Sun Splash for a special outing a couple times during the summer. I continue to buy the annual passes every summer...I have so much fun with them there. For what we pay, ($50/pass, if you renew by the end of the year) it's so worth it. Because they are so young, we just go in the morning, take a sack lunch (which you can't bring into the park), and then we are home in time for naps. We don't have to spend hours and hours there. We do this once or twice a week. Unfortunately, there are risks to everything, but we play in the little kiddie areas alot, lazy river, wave pool, and small slides. Obviously, you just have to keep a close eye on them. I bring one of my younger cousins with me to help be an extra set of arms & eyes. I wouldn't recommend Big Surf...it's just a big wave pool. Have you looked into Harkins Summer Movie Fun? That's another great summer activity.
