I am looking for an existing playgroup or to organize some play dates in/around the Beverly area for toddlers around 14 months of age. I have tried to contact Mothers & Company with no success. Any other ideas or interest please let me know.

There is a Mom and Tots group at Christ the King church. The group meets for an hour usually every Wednesday at 10am. Sounds like just what your looking for.
There is a big group of moms/kids of all ages (newborn - 3) who get together for a playgroup at CK on Wednesday mornings (I think its at 10am). If you want more info, let me know and I can send over.

Hi R., I would suggest Meetup.com. They have a ton of moms groups from all over. I have a group I started almost a year ago and we are up to 100+ moms. I've listed our website to get you started. Most moms groups are set to private so lurkers don't see our personal info but all you have to do is request to join. You're welcome to join us and see if you like it!! We have WONDERFUL moms in our group and alot of women have made some of their bestfriends here over the last year!!

The playgroup I found for my toddler was one organized on Meetup.com It's free to join Meetup, and you can find Meetups on all kinds of topics and interests, including mom groups. You can also start your own Meetup if none exist in your area.

There is a playgroup at St. Barnabas Church, 101st & Longwood. I think they meet on Wed. mornings. On nice days they were meeting at Hurley Park nearby, but now that it's getting colder they meet in the church basement. I used to take my daughter and neighbor there, but they're both in school now.
