Dear Ladies:

We are pregnant with our first. I am at 21 weeks, and very quickly loosing my "innie." I hear that there are baindaid like things you can buy to keep your navel flat, and to keep it from chaffing against your clothes.

Has anyone used these? Are there any you would recommend? Are there any you would suggest I avoid?

Thanks a bunch.

What can I do next?

I wouldn't buy anything or worry about it until it actually pops outward. I have a deep innie... in my last pregnancy, it never popped out... all that skin ended up being used as my belly got bigger. Eventually, the belly button hole disappeared and all I had was just a little circle. No actual outie ever happened.

No it wont chaff, just makes your belly looks funny and everyone will comment on it but mine went back in after birth.

It wont chaff against your clothes. Just keep your belly well lotioned and enjoy your baby belly.

Just keep it lotioned because the stretching skin will get dry. My belly button popped out way before I was done....(Like a turkey, lol).
I never used band aids although I guess you could. That might just cause more skin irritation. (I'm allergic to the adhesive in band aids).
Just keep lotioned and oiled up.
My innie went right back to normal after both of my births.
It's just part of your belly growing.

Best wishes!
