I loved that show.
Just a fun fact- Don Adams was the voice of Inspector Gadget. No wonder you made that connection!!
Maxwell Smart from Get Smart....my brother was such a nerd he had THE CREDITS memorized! Cute show. Didn't they make a movie a few years back?
Get Smart or Dragnet would be my guesses!
Yup its Get Smart. He also had a telephone in his shoe. His partner was 99 and a woman. It was before my time but I remember watching re runs all the time.
Get Smart. LOVED the cone of silence. DH and I were just trying to explain it to DS this week.
Yes Bethany...Get Smart. It was Mel Brooks and Buck Henry at their finest!
Get Smart! Don Adams, Barbara Feldon. It was in the mid-'60s, I think. Mel Brooks was one of the creators. I loved that show.
Dragnet got a mention below. Dragnet started in late '40s as a radio show before it went to television, and it's regarded as one of the most influential police shows ever. But it was never a comedy. (Except for moments here and there!)
