So my daughter gave me the treatment today.... Did my hair, got me some water, rubbed my feet, lotion on my arms. So fun!

So now she wants a "beautification" day for herself. I'm going to set it up tomorrow after school and put her through the works. The only hitch... not sure of any at-home "beautification" ideas.

I recall egg, mayo and olive oil in the hair.... but at a loss for ideas after that.

I'll junk up her hair in the name of shininess
Do her nails
Make her a cucumber water and put cucumbers on her eyes

Any ideas for face scrubs and anything else??

TYIA!

I only had boys, I am so jealous!

My feet were only stepped on, my nails were quickly clipped.
My drink was poured by me and my nap time was quickly nipped!

They sell face masks for like 99cents at Kmart. We get the chocolate one for my grand daughter. It smells so good while it's on there. They come in single use package.

I've used sugar mixed with essential oil or olive oil as a scrub, just take it easy on a kid if you go the scrub route. I've also used honey and avocado as a facial mask. To really make kids feel pampered it's always fun to make a little snack beforehand that they can munch on while getting their treatments. Also, if you have a foot bath those are always fun for kids.

[Sorry, should clarify, those are body scrubs, not facial scrubs.]

There are recipes (search google) for sugar or salt scrubs that are really easy--usually involves sugar/salt, liquid hand soap (with a scent you like) and some olive or canola oil. Also you can buy one-time facial packs and foot scrubs at places like Kmart (the foil packs are shaped like feet).

Other thoughts are stickers/rhinstones you can add to nails (you didn't say how old she is).

Also what you serve for refreshments during your "spa day" can make it fun--water with citrus or cucumber slices floating in it (as you said), little tea sandwiches, fruit, etc.

Cushy robe and relaxing music--its all about the woo-woo music. Have fun!!

Make her a kid drink (like cherry limeade) but put it in a fancy margarita glass with a cherry or slice of lime on top! Then she can sit and drink that while you paint her toes and lotion her up. Fun!
