BB Cream?

If you've tried it or use it, what do you think? Do you buy Korean or another brand? What's your favorite?

I'm thinking of switching over. I find myself wearing less and less makeup, but would still like a little something to smooth my complexion. I've read lots of great stuff about BB Cream for complexions like mine (pale, porcelain).

Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

You ladies are awesome! Thank you!

I've purchased the Garnier BB cream to try out, and I'm also ordering the two Bug recommended. They're so much cheaper than my makeup and moisturizer! I'm excited to try them!

I love, love, LOVE BB cream. With that said, I only love Korean BB creams. I seriously hate US brands and formulas. I also have pale, porcelain like skin. My favorites are Holika Holika and Skin79. A big bonus with Skin79, is the cheek and lip tint is beautiful. It goes on with just the right amount of color and sheerness. I struggle to find a cheek tint (cream blushes work best with BB creams) that goes with my skin, and that stuff is perfect. With Holika Holika, there is only one of their BB creams I love, and I tried them all. (I use Essential Petit.) It has more coverage then Skin69...which has much less. With both, a little goes a long way. I like to use a tiny bit of colorless finishing powder, to set everything.

Finishing powder (A little goes a looong way. This stuff lasts forever, so the price tag is totally worth it. It's the best I've tried,as well.) :

ETA: I have VERY sensitive skin, and I've not had issues with my face. One thing, is I don't put it around my eyes. I have sensitive eye skin, and I have a concealer (MAC) that works with my eye skin. I couldn't tell you if the BB burns the eyes, because I don't put it right under them. I do put it on my eyelids with no issues, though.

I've tried the Cover Girl and the Rimmel . It looks really great ,light and dewy fresh . The problem I've found is I've had a pimple after every time I used it . I never get pimples usually . I'm not sure if it gets better after your face gets used to it or not.

I tried a sample of one brand by DHC. I'm pale, porcelain, and very sensitive. I itch around my eyes a lot, and somehow, a trace of the cream apparently got on my fingers and into my eyes, which itched intensely for hours after. My face broke out the next day, which never happens to me any more. I'm staying away from that stuff, but I hope it works for you.

I have tried Garnier Skin Renew BB Cream, and L'Oreal BB Cream.
I like them both very much. My skin looks so rejuvenated and young!.The first one seems to be a little bit thicker than the second one. L'Oreal BB Cream is very light makes the skin looks fresh but it doesn't totally cover imperfections like the first one.

I tried the Garnier shine-free BB cream for normal-oily skin and have mixed feelings on it. I have been using it about a month. I find it more like a foundation than a moisturizer in terms of consistency and how it goes on. It has very good coverage, which I like, but is difficult to get off my hands after applying (I need to wash with soap and water 2-3 times), and difficult to completely remove from my face in the evenings. I have tan skin with yellow undertones and use the light-medium tone (the darker of the two shades my store offered), and find it a little ashy, especially when first applying; it goes on with a whiteness and takes a bit of time for the whiteness to blend in to my skin. Also, throughout the day, the color will rub off onto clothing, tissues, etc., much like a makeup, which surprised me. I used the cream daily for about 3 weeks, but now go back and forth with my regular daily moisturizer (I rarely wear make-up). I'm still trying to figure out if I like it or not. I would be interested in trying another brand but the prices of BB creams are fairly high. Good luck!
