I am trying to figure out about this new kids game, Bakugon. First off, what does HSP mean, and what are they for? Also, do you guys recommend this game for my 6 yr old, or is there something I might need to know about this game? Thanks for helping!

My 5 year old loves Bakugon. We don't play the game, we just play with the Bakugons.

I've been wondering about Bakugan. your question reminded me to look it up. After reading about it, I don't want my kids playing it. One of the posts I found said this:
"After continuing to search with different words, I found a few things that really bothered me specifically. Some of the special abilities cards are: chaos of darkness, face of rage, and most overtly, Final Wizard and Demon Wizard (Excedra is this Bakugan’s name)." --end of quote--

I had/have the same questions. Not sure it looks like something I want my 6 year old to play with yet. I did ask the manager at the Toys-r-Us this weekend what is was about and he said it is like Pokeman (spelling?) was a few years ago.
Anyone with any insight, background, rules of this game would be much appreciated.

My boys went through a phase where they liked to play with the toys (the ball things), but never played the game. I would have a problem with it if they got into it and understood the game and the terminology based on what I've read here, but as long as they just liked the magnetic balls, it was no problem. Now neither of them like them any more.
