Some probiotics work fine on me while others give me the runs.
It takes time for your digestive tract to make an adjustment.
It might be that this particular brand just isn't for you.
Try a different one and you might have better results.

It's very common. A lot of people take probiotics to change the balance in their digestive tract, and that's exactly what happens - the whole environment is thrown for a loop. For some, if the probiotics are mixed in yogurt or other dairy products, the dairy itself is an added factor.

I'd stop for a few days. Then, if you feel strongly about resuming, take less, or take them every other day, or both.

Yes- cheap probiotics have done this to me. I have taken the powder form with better results.

i haven't myself, but i've heard about it happening. sometimes you just alter the flora and fauna in your gut too quickly. are you taking a supplement or yogurt?
maybe just back off the amount and let the change occur more slowly.

Had Activia once and it messed up my system big time. I will stick to my regular yogurt!

With a probiotic, you should ease your body into it.
