Sometimes when a baby develops a new skill they will not use old ones for a while. He is probably just so excited to be sitting that he isn't interested in rolling right now.
My son is almost 7 months old. He started rolling over (belly to back) at the beginning of 6 months. He didn't do it a lot, but he was doing it. Now that he can sit up without support, he never rolls over during tummy time. His doctor says this is normal, but it seems weird to me. Anyone have the same experience?

I think he just prefers to be on his tummy which is good because hes building upper body strength when hes on his tummy. A lot of babies prefer to be on their tummy's rather then their backs...I know mine always did.
I agree with Katrina's response. With both of my girls, I found that when they stopped doing something it was because they were about to start doing something else. Get ready!
My kids hated belly time except for sleep. If he's sitting up he's probably not needing that. His muscles are developing just fine. He'll probably crawl from sitting rather than belly.
My friend's daughter did exactly the same thing. She is about 7 months old now too. She rolled over front to back, back to front when she was younger, but not much. And now she's not interested in doing it at all! I'm sure he'll grow out of it, or just start crawling around for his means of transportation!
