My 15 month old beautiful baby boy has long blonde curls and I think it is time to try the first haircut. I live in Lake Dallas and would go to Denton or the Lewisville area to a place that specializes in kids. Any suggestions?
I was also very happy with Cool Cuts (Richardson). They have a toy area, and all the seats have video games or videos. there are a couple that are a firetruck or cab or something like that. They also take the child's picture and give you a special card with some of their hair in it. We've been there twice and he did very well the 2nd time. Of course, he wanted to play with EVERYTHING (combs, hair dryers, etc.). Sigh!
We are headed to my hubby's barber this very morning to have our 16mo hair cut for the first time! He's been going wtih my hubby/sitting on his lap for several months to get used to the environmnet. Anyway he's at Unique Barber just off the square. His name is Scott. My husband has been going to him for like 10 years.
I was a hair stylist myself for 6 years years before I became a stay at home mom. I worked with a girl named Dominique and she now has her own booth at The Salons on 407 (Flower Mound on 407-it's really close). She has one child, and one on the way and she's the most patient person on earth. Plus she's a great stylist. If I didn't cut my kids hair myself, she's who I'd use for sure!
I just got my son's first haircut as well at 18 months.
We went to Cool Cuts they do an awesome job and the kids sit in little cars and can watch a video
