what about a pacifier??
At first it was because to soothe her teething. But now, it has become a habit. Do you have any suggestions on weaning her out w/o making her to fussy or causing a ruckus?? I tried not giving her my knuckle, but she wouldn't want to sleep and the only way she would not suck my knuckle is for my baby to sleep w/ us. And sometimes that doesn't even work. I'm afraid it might mess up her sleeping schedule.
what about a pacifier??
lol. that happened to us too! i have no advice except it will last longer than expected if you don't stop. (thats what happened to us)
My son would use me as a pacifier and sometimes that was okay, but it just wasn't possible all the time and I didn't want him to become dependent on nursing. He refused a pacifier and wouldn't take his thumb when I tried to guide it in his mouth. So what I did was get a soft blanket that I would put in his arms while he nursed and put in his crib with him while he slept. I carried it everywhere with us so it would get my smell on it and he would get used to it. Eventually he started to take the blanket on his own and now that thing is so gray and yucky, I can't even take it to wash it. It really helped with letting him soothe himself. It's not an overnight fix, but maybe it's worth a shot for you to try.
She won't take a binky? They are a lot easier to take away when they are older than a finger.
