Hi Ladies! I am hosting my sister's baby shower next month. She is having twin girls. I want to have at least one fun activity/game.

I'm not interested in the following games:

measure the belly (she's already sensitive about how big her belly is!)
guess the melted candy bar in the diaper (sorry, never liked that one)
guess the baby food

Thanks!!!

What can I do next?

The last one I hosted we did Baby Gift Bingo - - which was good because it kept people involved in the gift opening and they had fun with it! Another fun one is "The Price Is Right" - - buy a bunch of baby necessities (diaper, wipes, lotions, paci's, etc). Lay them out and then put price cards out and have everybody try and match the prices to the items. Most matches wins a prize and the Mom gets to keep the items.

We did a craft at my sister's shower instead of a game- also twins! We had each person pull a "month" or "holiday" out of a cup and then decorate a onesie for each baby in that "theme" or "season". It was really cute and some people got VERY into it!

At my shower, we had a dress me type baby doll and had a contest for how fast people could dress the baby. The clothes include underwear/diaper and a bib and hat as well. It was funny to watch, especially when people started turning the baby upside in a way that you would never do in real life.

Another game was related to matching candy bar names with pregnancy or baby terms. Kind of like this:
http://lilluna.com/candy-bar-shower-game-printable-tutori...
except we did it like concentration. So there were cards for the candy bars and cards for the matching terms. Then they were mixed up and put face down on a table and you tried to find matches. If you found a match, you "won" that candy bar. And then the one with the most matches won a prize. I don't recall what we did if there was a tie at the end.

Then there is that safety pin game where everyone starts with one pin and the goal is to catch someone saying baby during the shower and take all their pins. In this case, you could expand it to not being able to say baby or twins. I don't particularly care for that game, but other people like it.

I like this one because it isn't real structured. Seems like everyone just wants to be visiting anyway. Use clothes pins or diaper pins or make a necklace of yarn with a little toy pacifier or something on it and give one to each guest. Make up a rule, like they can't cross their legs, or say the word baby, or momma. If another guest catches them breaking the rule they ask for their pin(s) and whoever has the most when you decide to end the game wins.

We did a gift bingo at my shower as well, but not the traditional mark a square if she gets a bib. Every present got a sticker with a number on it. They were numbered in the order they came in, but not opened in the same order. The bingo cards were passed out and the guests filled it out with numbers 1-however many gifts. You can play regular bingo, then do and X, then do blackout etc, so the game can keep going.
