I guess I'm just looking for a little support. Please tell me I'm not the only one who has baby on the brain constantly!!!!! With my first 4 pregnancies (1 miscarriage) all I had to do is say, "Lets get pregnant." and bam! next cycle I'm pregnant. I consider myself lucky to be healthy and fertile but this time around I am going crazy! I never got on birthcontrol after baby #3. I have had unprotected sex with my hubby for these last 14 months! I figured I won't get pregnant right away (and I was right) due to breastfeeding so much. But I weaned my 14 month old last month. Then a few weeks ago I had my period. Before it came I thought for sure I was pregnant and even took a few test resulting in false positives or evap lines. So my hopes were up so high! Now i've been waiting for signs of ovualtion (it should happen sometime this week) and I find myself thinking about getting pregnant all the time!!! I so hope it happens this month! I would sure like to hear that I'm not the only one who feels this way and that it's okay to want a pregnancy this bad.

What can I do next?

I was like that last year-both times we got pregnant it happened immediately. We tried for so long with #3 that I finally gave up-quit tracking cycles, threw out preggo tests etc. Guess what? 6 weeks later I was posting on this site that I had a faint positive pregnancy test and I am due with #3 in 5 weeks!

Hi! Yeah, with this pregnancy (I'm 17 1/2 weeks), I had baby-brain BAD. Luckily I got pregnant fast, because I'm sure I could not have standed the wait. This is my third child. With my first child, we also got pregnant very quickly. Both times, I was taking birth control, stopped, and was immediately pregnant. With my second daughter, it took me 18 months to get pregnant with her, and I hadn't been taking birth control. For me, it was the BC that regulated my cycle, and allowed us to get pregnant more easily.

Either way, you know that it *can* take a long time to get pregnant, so I hope you're trying to think of ways to keep your mind busy so you aren't making yourself crazy! I know it's so hard!

Good luck, hope it happens very soon!

Hi B.
I was like that after my first , every month for three years.
Yes it took three years to get preggers with my 2nd, a now 8 month baby girl.
The irony is I am the opposite now. I feel I am done so every month I'm hoping for my period lol
I always thought I wanted 3-4 kids.

Hope you get preggers soon.
You know people say ,trying is the wrong thing to do ,relax ,enjoy and all the rest.
Also a baby comes when it' s meant to.

Anyhow ,good luck!!!
Keep us posted

Maybe your body is telling you that it needs a rest!

Baby brain is common, I think. It makes sure that we are willing to conceive again! The joke is that if men and women took turns, men would never do an encore after having delivered a bowling ball from between their legs, LOL!

Maybe if you just concentrate on the one you already have, it'll happen naturally. Sometimes wanting it TOO much puts stress on you and then you don't conceive.
